Please Label Me So I Can Go Tell Everyone What You Think!

Label yourself.

When will folks get over name calling? I used to think labels were something thrown around only in school. College maybe, but not later on in life – as adults – when we’re supposed to have outgrown that crap. But not only is it still prevalent everywhere, people are just mortified of being labeled something negative by another person. But if that same other person says something nice and positive about us – BRING IT.

What IS that?

Since when did a stranger’s opinion matter? Hellwhy does anyone’s opinion matter more than our own? What am I missing?

Value Yourself.

Perhaps if we would begin placing more importance on things like our environment, equal rights, kittens, water conservation, setting examples of kindness, the ozone layer, and yada yada rather than on our own opinions – we might begin to evolve a little bit as a species. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Once you know what I think (because before you knew it you were fine, right?) what are you going to change – besides everything? Because that’s what you’ve eventually going to have to change each time you discover a new person’s opinion. And you will go POOF in the meantime.

Don’t do it. Drop your need for approval. You’re an adult now. Approve your own choices and your actions and your thoughts yourself and get on with your day. If you don’t approve – then change something and approve THAT.

Be authentic, no matter what anyone else thinks or says or does. The planet needs YOU. You’re the only one of you HERE!! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’–
